Hello Tinafaye,

I figured I would just respond to you here since this seems to be your choice of communication. We were seeing very high intermittent load spikes on the server. When the spikes occur, they don't last very long to the point where they set the monitors off but occasionally they're crashing the server. Specifically, we've seen when the crons that run at midnight consume all available memory. Those specific crons were emailed to you accordingly. we noticed that one of these was also recently added via another ticket. When we re-ran these manually we were able to cause the load issue. we were also seeing at times the wordpress sites spiking in resource utilization. We recommend ensuring that all wordpress sites have caching modules enabled.

We didn't see the server offline for 12 hours, nor for 554 mins. It was down after midnight and then over the last 2 hours while we took the server offline to upgrade it.

We added another another disk to the server so that we could move the MySQL data directory over to it to provide for more I/O resources to your mysql install. There was only 1 single disk in this server (as ordered) and the IOPs required by all of your applications is greater than what that disk can handle at times. Long term I recommend a separate mysql server since the applications installed are very demanding of mysql and its resources, or a WEBAIR FUSION CLOUD server which can provide about 50 times the IOPs of the disk in this server.

We have set up some custom monitors and will continue to keep an eye on this. Let me know if you have any issues and please let us know if you want to consider something like a mysql server or the fusion option. I will be happy to go over both of those options with you.

Best Regards,
