Stats Remote Rocks!

I signed up for Stats Remote a few days ago and I am really impressed. All of my sponsors work (unlike some other stats programs), but more importantly I had an issue with a sponsor, posted it on the their board and it was solved within an hour or so (it was my mistake). Then I had an accounting issue (which was also my mistake) and it was solved within ten minutes of me writing a support email.

I had resisted signing up for a long time because $29 seemed like a lot, but with such an excellent product and incredible support it is more than worth the price.

I actually like to give credit from time to time to companies that actually deliver what they promise. It happens so rarely that I like to try to encourage the very small number of good companies out there. I wish could start more threads like this but it is rare.

stats remote is the shit!! I have been using it for a couple years now (shortly after it launched I think) and have been hooked on it since... Works GREAT if you have alot of programs you promote.

SR is not really user friendly.
I really miss mouse scrolling...

and yes, I need statistics of what paysite made sale

But anyway SR is quite useful!

Mouse scrolling will work with the new software due out later this year.

Stats of individual sites is something we've been thinking about for a long time. The problem is that the software would produce too much load on the stats servers of many programs.

What kind of stats are they talking about that would produce to much load?

If you fetched the detailed stats once daily or a few times a day, I don't see how it would be any worse then usual?

I remember when I used to have to check stats for 40+ programs by hand, what a fucking nightmare. Stats remote is the shit. The forum support is crazy fast. One time I inquired about getting something added, 10 minutes later I had a response, 3 days later it was included in the update. If I ever run into these guys at a show I will buy them a couple whores.

For example, there are programs with 100+ sites and it's not possible to query daily stats for all sites at once. Therefore we would need to make 100+ queries every day to get the stats of each site. If you now imagine a few hundred affiliates making 100+ additional queries every day...

We've already had a lot of problems with the current setup... stats servers that couldn't handle the load of our members, some even crashed... programs blocking the IPs of all their affiliates that used StatsRemote... etc... While our main goal is to make our members happy, we also need to consider the wishes and concerns of affiliate programs due to above reasons.

We plan to have stats for individual sites for select programs in the future but this will probably never happen for the majority of programs.
