Hell ya, what kind of shity ass coach makes it to the postseason 12 years in a row with 4 World Series titles and a few more ALCS titles? Torre has been nothing but dissapointing since he got to New York, good thing he's gone.

I would not be surprised if you see the Yankee's come back and make another offer to Joe. He just made it clear in his interview why he didn't accept the offer. I think you will start to see players leaning on the management.
I personally think what Torre accomplished in 12 years was amazing. Dealing with all the BS in NY and being able to keep teams focused. I would have given him 3 years packed with loot and incentives to boot. Plus given him the reigns and understanding that I will not fuck with him during the season.
Right now Yankee management is making a mistake. In the end it will hurt them more than they know.No OneComment
