Here is the formula that our company uses:
1 Mbps x 60 seconds x 60 minutes x 24 hours x 30.5 days / 8 bits = 329400 Bytes (or roughly 330GB)
(this give you an approximation of one months worth of constant and steady usage accounting for either 30 and 31 day months.)
