    Cingular/AT&T Mobile Users In LA. Question?

    Does your service with AT&T/Cingular suck donkey cock in the LA area?

    I'm wondering if it is my phone or if it is the service area.. If I am in my house and move two feet I drop a call.. If I am outside the office I have to make sure I am in some specific areas of the parking lot or I drop a call..

    This is hella annoying, and I'm about to figure out if I need to swap carriers.. Never had any issues before with cingular before moving to LA

      I believe my son used Cingular for a while before finally breaking down and following his dad's advice.

              been using them for 4 years. Best provider ive ever had. never cut off a single call and works everywhere at least not on my current phone.

                      How old is your phone? There might be a software update for it.

                              It's a treo 650, and it's on its last leg I think. I've dropped it about 100 times... I might be upgrading to a newer version soon.. Just have to get on the horn with cingular/att and tell them I need a killer customer loyalty credit to get me the new phone..

                                  i have cingular for the past couple of years, it is not as good as verizon.... but the phone makes a difference, i got the pearl blackberry a while ago and it does pretty good, rarely dropped calls and the pearl is great for email/text etc.
