    Panda V2 - Will you be affected?

    Although it hasn't got a cool name, Google are calling it the ?webspam algorithm update?, it seems to be a pretty major upgrade to the Panda algorithm changes.

              I never get a negative affect from panda updates, yes traffic is screwed up for a short amount of time but i always see a rise at the end.

                                          On my highest traffic blog, Panda brings me up on one update then way down the next update. These updates seem to come every 4-6 weeks since Panda started a little over a year ago.

                                          This is a hand written blog with 200+ word posts, updated several days per week since 2008. I will get over 2,000 per day from Google on the up times, then down to around 500 on the down times. Just can't figure out why it is so volitile on this one site. My smaller blogs fluctuate a bit but stay pretty consistent.

                                          Anyone else have any blogs that go up on one Panda update, then down on the next in a cycle like mine?

                                                          The sites from my network, adult and mainstream, that get the most visits from google( by a huge difference ) are the ones that have no search engine optimization at all.

                                                          I really believe no optimization is better than anything else.

                                                                              Strange thing with this update. Traffic for a shitty site i own went from 100/UV to 1000/UV in 1 day. WTF??? Now shitty sites rules google????? Indeed keywords were with lot of daily searches..but still...10 times more in 1 day????

                                                                                                                  One of my newer site projects took a complete dump yesterday but just started coming back a few hours ago.

                                                                                                                  A few months back for shits and giggles I did try a fiverr.com blog comment spam package. I was curious if it would kill the site, improve it or do nothing. I was totally prepared for it to kill the site.

                                                                                                                  My guess is that the web spam did hurt my site but google probably did some sort of revert back while they tweak things a bit more before re-apply the rules.

                                                                                                                  So if google does keep things as is it means that for $5 you can kill any competitors site.

This update hit some of my sites pretty hard, but others got rewarded... worked out to be about a wash, and hopefully in another couple of weeks i will see benefit from the recent update

So, that was nice.

                                                                                                                                                                          Dealing with Google DMCA for whole site rip is a bitch, they will kill an image or article URL quickly but not so much for a whole domain.
