No estate agent in Vancouver would be caught dead in a Smart car. They seem to prefer BMW or Audi or Volvo.
As for the Mazda rant, which Mazda? There are so many! Miatas look like chick cars, but aren't. Mazda3 is just a regular mom/student/retired person hatchback. Mazda MPV is a minivan. Mazda5 is a minivan/ish. Mazda2 is a smaller Mazda3. So it doesn't make sense to say all Mazdas are chick cars.
