I agree with you there are two stories but to be that rich and that sloppy is fucking dumb. He painted a big fucking target on himself and then is surprised give me a fucking break.Also shooting underage girls makes us all look bad,they couldnt find a couple of girls that were of age.

I dont agree with everything he has done, but its the tall poppy syndrome.
If a girl produces id that says she is 18, how is he suppose to know that she was underage and it was not him that actually shot them.Comment

thats a good read. I will say I dont believe probably 75% of what the news reports it, I feel like I see right through the shit they typically inflate. However I also have the belief that if someone points the finger at you twice and says you smell, it could be a little misunderstanding, if people continue to point at you and say you smell, it's harder to believe the person doesnt at least have something going on.Comment

Wow, for someone who makes a living from the adult industry you're pretty quick to believe the same media type that targets all of us.
It might be a little much to compare him to Hef or Flynt, but when you reach a certain popularity level, all sorts of people target you unfairly.
Would you say the same things about the producers who shot Tracy Lords when she was performing under a fake ID? I know you shoot content, do you shoot more than one model? Have you dealt with a lot of models in the past? It's not unlikely to be faced with a situation like that, I know a lot of underage girls who have used fake IDs for a lot of reasons.
I just find it sad that people won't support someone in our industry just because he has a little more fun than the next guy.Comment

I worked for a guy in the 900 biz who was one of the smartest people I know (and those around during this time know who I'm talking about). He got nailed on tax evasion charges too. It doesn't just happen to stupid people. He ended up spending 4.5 years in Club Fed and by most estimates, netted about $50-60mil out of that one deal alone. Now he's free, rich and living in another country, AFAIK

A few things Tracy lords didnt have a fake id she had a government issued id that said she was of age.
From everything I read and the proof Joe shows on his site,there were no ids of any kind in this case. They signed a piece of paper saying they were over 18 and said it on camera. Which we all know is bullshit. Also its very hard now to fake a government issued id.Also if this so common how come there are so few cases of under age performers?
He plead guilty to that, if your innocent got a big war chest to fight and you plead guilty?

From the time I was 15 I had a state (FL) issued driver's license with my picture on it and someone else's info to say I was 18. All I had to do was go to the DMV with the paperwork my friend had given me, get my picture taken, get the license, walk out the door. There's NO WAY anyone would have caught it as a fake license because it WAS a real license.
I doubt it's still that easy, but I'm sure there are ways to get very "real" fake IDs (is that an oxymoron?)Comment

I had the originals, not copies. In thinking back on it, I see no reason why I wouldn't be able to do the same thing again. The only that would "catch" me would be if they compared pictures of the old ID with me, but even then we looked enough alike to have passed.
All you really need is two willing participants. I'm betting there are 1000s of illegal immigrants with driver's licenses using this same scenario.Comment

Pretty much every GGW film I've seen was shot in a bar/club... I've been to some of the same clubs, and if I can't get in without being ID'd, neither can these girls. I've also been to a GGW party in Vancouver and they were ID'ing girls there at the door.
