    Someone icq me when the search is fixed

    The site doesn't load any faster for me and now no search.
    I'm not a dinosaur, I'm a crocodile. I've seen dinosaurs come and go and I'm left unimpressed.

          I have noticed a speed difference but typically it was always hit n miss with time outs and it going nuts and timing out thus posting the same thread 8 times.

                  I figure if enough webmasters and affiliates would clean their closets of the skeletons and not be on the defensive all the time due to them being dirty ass backstabbers typically they would not need to keep pinging the search feature to check if someone said something about them every few minutes via some bot or tracking software and thus gfy would be fine.

                  But that will be the day.

                                                              You are so right, Ive personally used the search maybe 10 times the whole time ive been on gfy. If a thread is interesting or I want to track it I bookmark it. As far as what people say about me out of sight out of mind.

                                                                  That's rather shortsighted. A lot of people come straight to GFY as if it were some sort of universal support forum. Now those people might be idiots for not contact sponsors directly in the first place, but there's no reason the sponsor shouldn't be able to use a tool to offer that person the quickest possible support.

                                                                      Hey I love the search. I used it often. I would get highly iratated when I would enter in my phrase and either have it time out or I forgot to pick the correct forum area and then have to wait some time before I can redo my search. Any legit use of the search is great in my mind and not enough people used it to find proper info, hence 2000 of same thread.

                                                                      However there were way to many abusing it I know that for sure and they need to be banned or stopped. I think the baning would be hard though as many could be big advertisers as well who do the abusing the most since others talk so much shit.
