http://www.lelahosting.com/ works for me, even if they did just grab a template from templatemonster.com

I need to start designing hosting company templates, seems pretty lucrative considering there are 200,000,000 new hosts opening every day

I'd switch right away. Sounds like a hosting service run from someone's garage.

I have two sites hosted at Lelahosting and only one has been down for most of the day. Of course, it would be the one that I updated yesterday

Do you have any contacts at Lela? I've tired calling them on the number in their whois info, but thats disconnected.

I have talked briefly to Timothy Embler on ICQ a few hours ago, but he is not answering me anymore.

I was going to say who are they? Never heard of them myself.

Typically the cheap comes out expensive in this world and hosting is one area where that is often true. Seriously try another host and I mean a known host. However I would not pick one that you know of due to 3000 drama threads about them.

never heard of them. just give a try to dreamhost.com , we are running only on them about half year without any problems or limits ;)

Lesson 1. Keep local backups. Storage is cheap.

Painful lesson 2. You can not switch really until it goes back up unless you paid attention to lesson 1.

Thats where I started a few years ago. Good luck with that when you start getting some traffic.
