Nope, my father never wanted to be management. He was asked many times and turned them down. He was a machinist, and still loves to work on things now that he is retired.
It used to be a good thing to work for the same company your whole career. Something to be proud of. You should be old enough to remember that.
He believed in a hard days work and to save and invest. Had nothing to do with needing the job, it had everything to do with pride. something you know nothing about.Comment

Most other countries have, one or two. Canada has two. The United States has none. We are a country BUILT on diversity. If the U.S. declares an official language then all gov/state documents would be written only in English. While English is spoke by most, states like Cali have documents written in 47 languages. We can't forget about the 50 million + fellow citizens that can't read English.

if i move to france tomorrow because its a beautiful country and i really love it there... i would NEVER question whether or not i should learn french. seems pretty obvious and it would be the first order of business for me. i would do it for my own benefit and out of respect for my new hosts, where i am a guest. I live in OK and sadly have to go into the hell that is Texass several times a year so I get to see just what kind of stupidity runs wild down there. Trust me, it ain't pretty. Not only are Texans some of the very worst drivers in this country, they also seem to be some of the dumbest.
The days are gone when the spics are making $6 an hour. They are now taking union jobs. Some of them are even working for the fucking government. At the post office. Hell, in Texass, all around Dallas, in Houston right now (that US-59 clusterfuck in particular) the fuckers are working on highway crews. Is this just about Mexicans? The USA has different laws for almost every country. Do you people think the below info is fair? You can't blame them for trying. Waiting outside in line pleading to be hired for $30 a day is better than holding up the 7-11.
