    Anyone been to Aruba? Tips, things to do, places to visit?

    Booked a trip to Aruba for our anniversary. Read up about a few things online, but would rather have someone that's been there give me their

    Staying at the Renaissance Resort, and we have a rental car (I already know about the no right on redlights and the roundabouts).

      Besides the beaches, I would recommend visiting the "Natural Pool" as well as booking horseback riding.

      Wacky Wahoo has good food, I also has a good time drinking German beer at Bavaria.

                  If you have no kids there is adult only stuff. Snorkel on the west side, definitely horseback ride, golf, rent a jeep, have dinner at La Trattoria El Faro Blanco on the north side - it is on a large hill and you can see the ocean on three sides - great sunsets.

                                      Outside of the hotel areas, the island was surprisingly filthy. We rented a Jeep which was fun, hit the 'natural pools' as well as explored a cockroach invested cave ... If you are looking for good local food, then you're probably in the wrong place.
