Here's my logic - Things under eight years of a Republican White House was a disaster, and four years under a Democrat White House things are "better" - if only barely so. I think the entire election will come down to how well Obama can activate the far left. Romney will likely have trouble getting the far right to vote for him unless he is able to get a hardcore right winger as a running mate who doesn't come off as batshit crazy. The big problem Obama has is that many on the far left don't think he has been liberal enough and they are not all that enthusiastic. If they stay home and just assume he will win he could actually lose. If Obama can activate the far left like he did in the last election he will likely win pretty easily.Comment

I do respect Romney for getting elected in Mass as Gov. That was my home state born and raised there and that is no easy task for a republican let alone a Mormon. Let's explain it simply.
someone has a credit card that gives him a false sense of wealth, he's able to buy goods for more than his worth, live above his income and have a pretty cushy life. All he has to do is pay the interest, which in terms of countries borrowing or selling bonds is low.
Then he loses his job, or he gets a cut in his salary and the interest is crippling him. his Credit Card company stops his credit, then starts to pressure him to repay his debts. And the shit has really hit the fan.
Now multiply it by the number of people in the US and the debt the US is in.
The US is by no way in the situation of Greece. Still it has borrowed above it's level for a long time. Now the economy isn't able to repay the interest and credit is tough. cutting back the spending and borrowing by the US Government is going to take out $billions from the US economy.
That includes police, ambulances, firemen, roads and everything else the money is spent on. military, arms, etc. In one word jobs. People who spend money will no longer have the money to spend.
And this thread was devalued to a mans religious beliefs.
Still that's a major concern for many Americans. Does Jesus even have a credit rating?
