    Seriously, what is the deal with all this Illuminati garbage?

    People can't even watch a music video or listen to a song now without screaming "Illuminati!" just because there's a devil or a pyramid or an 'all seeing eye' in it. But why is it there in the first place? What is the deal with all this religious symbolism and demonic shit they use? What really is the reason they are putting this stuff in the videos? I think the artists/directors are just doing it now because people make a big fucking fuss about it and it causes attention to their music.

    Examples:





    I know they didn't sell their soul or sacrifice a family member to become famous or any stupid shit like that, so what is the reasoning for using all this kind of imagery?

                  No it's been dragging on for decades if not centuries, ppl just started to notice recently but this shit has been present in various mainstream media for quite some time now.

There is no doubt that the music industry has a huge fetish over the occult-ish symbolism -- One Eye, Lightning Bolts, Pyramids, Triangles, Pentagrams, Bondage, etc, etc... But I think "Illuminati" is just a scary catch-all phrase that screams "conspiracy theory."

                                                                                                  Vigilant Citizen is a pretty good primer on what's going on out there. And the strangest thing for me is this -- MOST of what you see is related to the Music or Fashion industries. You don't see it as prevalently in movies or porn. You very rarely see porn stars covering one eye or making pyramid symbols like they do in the music biz.

                                                                                                                                          Most of the artists are puppets with contracts, they do what they're told.

                                                                                                                                          If the video director tells them certain symbolism needs to be in the video, or if the person at the photoshoot tells them to cover one eye, etc, they do it.

                                                                                                                                          But that's not to say that some of the artists aren't directly involved themselves, probably just very few.
