My father was in the Vietnam War and actually likes some of the Vietnam movies. Of course movies aren't going to be fully realistic but he enjoys seeing some of the things they do get right and going into one of this Vietnam war stories
which I like because he always has tons of interesting war stories. He got drafted right out of high school but he says he doesn't regret being drafted at all and that it helped make him the person he is today.
