See my post. That seems like it might make sense if you don't happen to know the history of operating systems. For many years, Unix systems were the ONLY systems. 98% market share. They were reasonably secure when they had 98% of the market and they are still secure for the same reasons today. (Mac is officially Unux 3.0).

Windows lacks security ON PURPOSE and for good reason. They literally deleted all of the security related functions. Well, it WAS a good reason until surprise - the web was invented.
