So in rape cases there does not need to be any evidence, and we can go simply on someone's word? Let's extend this policy to every other crime.

I don't believe what I am reading here. How can something like this be allowed to happen? How can the DA just shrug this off like it's no big deal?? This case should scare the daylights out of all of us. That could easily have been you or me sitting in a jail cell for 9 years for nothing. For the people who prosecuted this man.....how can they live with themselves??
