quiznos & subway both are over rated.
I remember going to no name sub places and they taste 100X better
If your in Waterloo, Ontario try a place called "Big Jon Subs" - much better.
All the little private run sub places are better then quiznos & subway.Comment

IMHO... Shlotzky's is the best sub maker. Then Quizno's & then comes Subway. Subway would be before Quizno's but every location just can't seem to get the new breads right.I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

There are small businesses in almost every area of the food market (and most markets) that KILL the big commercial competition. The reason people buy McDonalds and Subway and Quizznos is not cause it's the best possible sub, but cause it's a GOOD sub, or a GOOD burger (albeit a long stretch from a GREAT burger), and they *KNOW* what it's going to taste like.

When I lived in NJ, I had kick ass sub shops all over town. Even my co-workers from Queens were blown away by the food at the deli in Lodi (close by the place that is the Babba Bing in the Sopranos). Not only that, but between NJ and NY, you had the best fucking pizza and bagels known to Man.
Moved out west, and I never got a good bagel again. Subs? They didn't even have a sandwich shop that wasn't a franchise. And the pizza was/is fucking weak!
I have slowly adapted to eating franchise chain pizza and subs. I have never ran across a Quiznos, but I have had that new Subway chicken teriyaki. It was pretty good. I'd take that over a franchise pizza any day of the week.
I was watching that Show on Comedy Central, Dave Attels Insomniac, and he was wandering around NYC. I wanted to choke the shit out of him, he was eating pizza, and then the fuck stopped by Grays Papaya King for some hot dogs! Papaya King kicks ass! Cheap, and service with an attittudeComment
