    Shooting our own content

We will be shooting our own content in a few months and I wanted to know if anyone had any sample contracts or legal agreements that they could shoot my way. Also if there was any advice on what to expect when shooting your own content. The majority of the content will be soft porn. Thanks in advance.

To shed a little more light on the topic, we would be shooting in Southern California.

I like to charge 700- 800 for a hot girl to do a POV scene/blowjob. If that helps with your pricing range. There are a lot of good things at Free speech too.

Depending on how you are shooting, you're going to need at least model releases, independent contractor agreement, work for hire agreements and a 18 USC 2257 doc.

My strong suggestion is to hire a lawyer, incorporate and get the necessary docs/contracts and insurance before you shoot.

If you're shooting in SoCal whatever model you hire will be considered an employee on set if he/she gets hurt. If you dont have work comp insurace, you and your partners will be personally responsible for any injuries. And no she/he cant waive that in a contract.

I do have contracts on my website for sale.

I'll second Free Speech Coalition. That's certainly the best place to start. I used them many many years ago and found them to be very helpful. They've been around a while in this industry and know their stuff.

Do you like to charge or do you pay 700-800 for a bj??? Damn, I'm glad I'm on the East Coast because I only pay 200-300 for a bj!

Anyway, my advice is to not rely on the credibility and professionalism of the talent out there. Sure there are some ladies/gents that are professionals, but most are looking for a fast buck and have other "issues" in their lives that prevent them from being professional. Keep in mind you are not working for reps from Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, etc.... You are going to young ladies that are clueless, have been abused, have substance abuse problems, are runaways, or are pathological everything you can imagine!!!!!

Honestly, I don't know how things are done in MECCA (the West Coast Industry), but I know that you need to get your legal docs in order and look for quality talent.

Your paying way too much for a scene like that bro. Have you ever tried lowering down your rates?
That's a very, very expensive rate for a bj scene.
