    PROGRAM OWNERS: How Many Affiliates Use Your RSS Feeds?

    Hey Everyone-
    Ive been using RSS Feeds for blog content for a while, but I was wondering how many people out there are actually using them?

    And the program owners out there, and their management, have you blog/rss feeds been successful for you program? Have you had good ROI? How many affiliates, in terms of numbers or percentages, actually use the RSS feeds you supply?

              thanks for the response... but the question is, with all these new RSS feeds how many people are using them?

              is only a small part of webmaster/affiliates actually using them?

                  SpookyCash has a really complete hosted blog RSS with good spider food text and images, updating every day this time of year. We have some webmasters who really fully utilize it and some who do really well with it, but I'm honestly surprised, given how many affiliates we have, that a larger number don't make use of the feed stuff.

                  When I upsell other people's stuff, I've also been surprised at how rarely the feeds update and how they tend to lack either text or images.

                      There are two kinds of programs: Those who offer RSS feeds as a real and usable promo tool (SpookyCash is certainly in this group) and those (hi Paul Markham, sorry, but I still have to find a feed that's worse) who just offer a shitty broken feed to make affiliates signup because they have a "WE HAVE RSS FEEDS" button on the program's homepage.

                          We just released a BBW feed for Chubby Checks and a few affiliates have made use of it already. Releasing another one tomorrow, also BBW.

                              personally I like OC Cash's RSS feeds.... they may not be that long, but they are keyword targeted, have links to galleries and their review site which you get credit for, and they update multiple times per week

                              I also have to give WEG a shout out - their daily DVD blog gives a long ass review and pushes to their all axxxess dvd download site - its pretty hot!

                                  This is soo true.. The other problem is that feeds require work for the programs and alot of them jumped on the bandwagon with them just to SAY they have them.. Maybe updated them for a few weeks then let them die. (do not even try to check the ones from reality cash. ) .

                                      The one at paulmarkhamteens gets used a lot. I see the stats and see why.

                                      I also built this which is easier than an RSS.

                                      Free porn videos and pictures. Every day the galleries change and it lists 5 days of content. Changes more than some RSS.
