                  just the problem that your usb stick is full with OS there's no room anymore for you data to serve..

                  and indeed nothing new i have already for a long time a usb stick containing a full Linux distro. The problem is not every hardware setup is capable of USB booting..

                    Another option, plug into a SLUG or something running dd-wrt and you "should" be able to get it to boot.
