                              2 billion seems way overpriced for a baseball team considering NFL franchises are valued at 1 billion. i know LA is a huge market but baseball's market demographics are old, hardly anybody under 50 cares about baseball. as their core audience dies off i sure don't see much of a new generation of baseball fans replacing them. i think in 20 years soccer will be ahead of baseball.

                              baseball's ridiculously long 162 game season helps, that's a ton of hours of TV programming.
