I am a DIE HARD Yankee fan and want to win but the Yanks are in a must win in game two already. I hope they win. They are capable of beating anyone but so are all the teams left in the playoffs. I would hate to see the amount of luxury tax they are going to have to pay in 2007 after paying 26 million in 2006. $97.75 million over the last four years is what NY has had to pay in Luxury tax. The Yankees have paid tax in all four seasons since the just-expired collective-bargaining agreement: $11.8 million in 2003, $26 million in 2004 and $34 million for last year.

Yankees Bug Out!
Even before Gen. Moses Cleaveland arrived here in 1796 and first surveyed what would become a delirious baseball town on the shores of Lake Erie, residents occasionally had to deal with swarms of gnat-like insects called midges, which descend in vicious waves from Canada and overwhelm just about any warm body.
Friday, in an eighth inning of a game where the Cleveland Indians couldn't swat a fly if it meant pushing a run across the plate, the midges arrived unannounced and landed, seemingly all at once, on Joba Chamberlain's neck (game over).
My pick for MVP of game 2 - Fausto Carmona. What a nasty ass slider!
Faced 22 hitters and 18 hit ground balls. Not bad for his 1st post season appearance.
Big ups to Andy Pettitte, he pitched a hell of a game!
Unfortunately for the Yankees, Fausto Carmona countered with a masterful performance of his own!
Damn good game!

Fine. I still hate the Yankees and A Rod is a total waste of money. The NY Newspapers made it sound like the bugs were the reason the Yankees choked again. They never mentioned that the A Rod sucks in post season play.

Yes A-Rod is choking as a Yankee in every postseason aspect, but if it wasnt for him, the Yankees would not even be in the playoffs. he carried the team in the early part of the season.... i credit Joe Torre and his over managing for the yankees game 1 loss....game 2 was just a great pitching game....Comment

First off, with a payroll like the Yankess, me and everyone else expects them to make the post season and win it all.
If I remember right, Cleveland was an AL power house in the mid 90's and the Yanks finally started winning again in what 1996-97? The Indians beat the Yanks in the playoffs back in 1997 3 to 2.
I keep reading about A-Rod this and A-Rod that. The guy is the best REGULAR SEASON player ever and will pass B Roid for the homerun title down the road sometime. He is the complete package EXCEPT he is not a clutch player. In the few years with the Yanks, people always called his numbers garbage numbers since a lot of HR and RBIs came late in games when it didn't matter and the game was already basically over. I will give it to him this year since he did produce some walk off hits and should be the AL MVP. BUT when it comes to playoffs, it seems he just shuts it off. To me he looks so uncomfortable at the plate, maybe he is not wearing enough purple lipstick??? I have always disliked the Yankees and wished Cleveland would have finished them off tonight but I guess it will have to wait until game 4.
Jeter is the only Yankees I like. He plays the game hard, heck he plays every pitch like its Game 7 of the WS. Jeter's picture should be next to the definition of clutch!

Yes, you won a game tonight.........but even if this makes it back to cleveland, which i doubt, we'll still throw cc or fausto, neither of which you can beat.
