Currently hosting 6 (I think?) managed servers with NationalNet. They're doing a capable job, no major complaints. I'd love a bit more foresight and planning, but my side is as much at fault as NatNet is. Bill is a prick, but a very capable prick, so thanks for a job well done, Bill.
MojoHost is the second coming of Jesus to me (I also host there currently), so anything I say about them is definitely biased. The cliff notes are that I'd eat the corn out of Brad Mitchell's shit to stay with them. Just sayin'.
I don't think you can go wrong with either Mojo or NatNet. Sorry, but I don't have recent experience with ISPrime, so any comments would be ancient history by now ... and none of them would be negative, incidentally.Comment

This must be a challenge for second
JK! Who really knows, most hosts use similar back ends. Why don't you do some speed tests here http://webwait.com/
Also find out how many sites they usually have per server and how long this service has been in business.
Then find out if they have two or three level back ups, trust me! this is needed now matter how perfect they think their servers are.
Then don't settle for anything less then cpanel it's the best control panel.
There is lots of gimmickie things and extra cool stuff as well. But this is the main stuff that will decide if your business will be strong with this host.Like the desert needs the rain

I've never used IS Prime and don't know anyone that has.
I've never used MoJo Host, but from what I've heard they are very good.
I've been using Nat Net for the past ten (?) years, never had an issue.
If you really want to test your host, put in a ticket or call them at 2am their time and check out how quickly they respond.Herschel Savage

We've got a good number of CMS customers hosted at all three places and have never heard anything negative about their support. Having dealt with the support teams at each company for years, my opinion is that you can't go wrong with any of them.

Only if you do not have a clue what you are doing. The time it would take to put in the ticket would equal the time it would take to do it yourself.

You've never seen NatNet or Mojo field a ticket, then.
Sometimes, they're done before the ticket confirmation hits my inbox. Not every time, granted, but sometimes it's so fast it makes my head spin.
There's no way I'd want my own ass on the line for a mistake when the strength of NatNet or Mojo could be behind making sure it got done right.
I really don't understand the "do it yourself" crowd .. are they just poor/cheap, just don't want the documentation (ticket) to go with it, or just uneducated? What's been your experience with those types?Comment

We use DirectAdmin. Even the most clueless (did not know how to register a domain, had to be given a tutorial to sign up for hosting) are able to add domains in seconds. Seriously, I have nothing against any of the hosts you mentioned, and I have even used the support on some. You can add a domain before the support page finishes loading. You've never seen NatNet or Mojo field a ticket, then.

you been drinking tonight ?
it takes as long to add a domain in directadmin as it does to put in a ticket.
same amount of clicks about so no putting in a ticket is not faster.

Every sysadmin I know who's worth a shit(and I'm not talking entry level guys at Hostgator) says CPanel is the biggest pile of shit ever for many reasons. This must be a challenge for second

But I still use it 'cause I'm not a sys admin.

As to the thread... Only have experience with MojoHost and I'd say they're the best host I've hosted with, adult or mainstream.
Never heard a lick of bad about the other 2.Comment

the reason every sysadmin hates cpanel is because it takes over the whole system there is not much you can do on a server running cpanel because cpanel will overwrite your settings.
and cpanel support sucks ass

Haha ... yes, I have been.
Ok, that was perhaps a bit of hyperbole. But I like the "automatic" documentation of tickets, and having more support staff than myself ... especially 24/7 support staff that can login when I am away from the computer.Comment

long time since I used ISPrime for the last time, and they were very good indeed, but right now Mojo and NatNet are top cats for a reasonThis post is endorsed by CIA, KGB, MI6, the Mafia, Illuminati, Kim Jong Il, Worldwide Ninjas Association, Klingon Empire and lolcats. Agreed. We deal with a lot of hosts and those you can't go wrong with those three. Trying to come up with some differences, ISPrime is more focused on security than most, whereas Mojo and Natnet would be more likely to choose what's convenient for you, the customer.Last edited by raymor; 03-26-2012, 08:10 PM.For historical display only. I'm not so sure on that, Mojo became very very focused in security. As a matter of fact, sometimes I think they go a little overboard!

Webair has what they say is a proprietary control panel, whatever it is I like it very much.
I have a server at Mojo now and they seem great, they don't recommend using a CP, slows down the server they say so I didn't get one. Even with great response times to tickets I do prefer doing things like setting up email accounts, databases, adding domains, ftp users etc myself.
Never heard a major complaint about NatNet and have only heard great things about ISPrime. I considered hosting with both but both were considerably more expensive than Mojo or Webair.I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!Comment

I have previously used Cpanel, Plesk and now DirectAdmin and DirectAdmin is by far the best one of them. Unlike the other two, DierctAdmin has only the most necessary features and is light on server. We use DirectAdmin.
