You got caught and just now turned the shit off.. because it's not doing it now.

What I was saying before people was that we responded to the thread like everyone asked. People didnt like the responses thats fine.
The acount was Terminated. And the affiliate was notified Traffic was no longer being excepted. Frankly I have nothing more to say on this. When an affiliate program does promo's like $50 joins for the rest of the year You get all kinds of traffic sources sending. Shit like this happens. And honestly Im sure if the affiliate isnt sending to us he will be sending to someone else.Comment

Having witnessed the origins of spyware 5 years ago I am surprised it has taken all of you this god damn long to figure it out. So many sponsors do it. Go read Netpond 4 years ago. Read GFY 4 years back. Lots of top companies had tool bars. A lot of them got caught and they figured out a way to do it under the radar. This has been going on for a long time. A long long time. Now people are getting caught because they are stupid. (and because they don't invent the software - they just buy ads from other people.)

Just like email spam, many profited from it, but in the end 99% of them have moved away from it as the risk / return ratios went down the toilet. I think that someone like Diamond Jim spending the next 63 months in jail should be a total wakeup call to many in the industry that at some point, the penalties aren't just "a cost of doing business" but means you could spend time in a federal butt slamming prison.
My feeling is that the toolbar thing is about get blown wide open.Comment

I think as long as we have proof we SHOULD create a public shitlist WITH PROOF.
it's the least this industry can do to protect itself and leave the money to the good players instead of the scammers.
the more time passes the more obvious it is we need a shitlist in a place like GFY where almost every adult webmaster passes.
a thread on GFY that may or may not be noticed is not enough, whenever an adult webmaster wants to trade traffic, join a program, approve an affiliate, choose a billing processor - it should go and check the shitlist before doing so.
