Some people are great at following the crowd. Others lead. That design is definitely not a run-of-the-mill layout or front-end, and not just anyone will be able to handle it. Of that particular style no. But i have a portfolio in my siggie. Its a moot point though as im not accepting work.
I'm not knocking the design or the designer. Its great work. But its just a frame to showcase great content...Stick some shit content in there and nobody would be mentioning the design...Comment

The design and the content compliment each other in way that almost makes the two synonymous with another. That's what good design does. Do you not understand the concept of design? What's your goal when you get a client? To bust something out as quickly as possible?

That would depend if I had taken the job at fixed rate or hourly.
Fixed rate.. Ive got a business to run. SO yes id aim kick it out in the time i had quoted.
*also, its clients who ask for work to be done as quickly as possible. Man hours cost. They want their project as cheap as they can..
