My dad was bitten by a Brown recluse on his foot, It was in his shoe. The spot turned black, He went to UK (University of Kentucky) Hospital and they instantly wanted to amputate. He said Fuck That! and left. The skin kept rotting further and further, Weeks later he could no longer handle the pain and stopped at a small hospital in Ohio. They admitted him, cleaning and cutting away the dead skin for a week or so. He had a full recovery just ending up with a big scare on his foot.
