A man was arrested early Monday morning on suspicion of residential burglary of celebrity Nicholas Cage's bayfront Newport Beach home.
The man - identified by police as Robert Dennis Furo of San Pedro ? was wearing nothing but one of the movie star's leather jackets, said Newport Beach police spokesman Lt. Craig Fox.
Cage was upstairs with his wife and child, and reported seeing the man standing at the door of a bathroom.
"He was standing there naked ? except for the leather jacket," Fox said.
A guard in a gated community along Bayshore Drive said Cage reported an unknown male subject found inside his home about 1:30 a.m.
"Mr. Cage escorted him out of the house without incident," Fox said. "He did not resist Mr. Cage, nor did he resist the officers."
Furo, 45, had no weapon on him. The Newport Beach police were on the scene within a few minutes, he said.
