    what is the purpose of buttonfly jeans???

    they take longer to open...if you are dieing to urinate you run the risk of not whipping it out in time and if u r suddenly propositioned with sex, now u have to worry about not whipping it out in time and then getting the condom out of the wrapper and onto your buddy...

    they do not add any style sense...

    anyone want my rock n republics, i cant wear these damn buttonflys anymore

      Grab top corner and pull. Easier to open when drunk for girls I have found. When they are down on there knees the angle to open them is just right.

          I don't get the point of them either? Maybe as another option to zipper fly?

              Ya, I had one pair and I pissed myself before i could get them open. So I have completely sworn off button fly's forever. If I pissed myself because I was wasted, thats one thing, but malfuntioning jeans causing the incident is too much.

                      i came very close about 10 mins ago...sux to cuz i have a few pairs of rock n republics and they r all buttons but i never really wear them cuz of this issue...i wonder if my tailor can take the buttons out and hook me up with a zipper

                          if they want to offer consumers another option to zipper, give me velcro...i was such a happy kid when i had my velcro kangaroos...velcro fly would work well

                              I find it easier to open buttonflys than normal jeans. Comes in handy when you need to take a piss at a bar and you are holding a bottle.

                                  with Button flies you have to do the grab and rip easiest way to open them, it's a pain in the ass buttoning them back up though.
