I really think GFY ussually fucks up and lags because nearly every program owner (and who isnt) plus every spammer (who isnt) and a lot of others have fucking tracking software picking out keywords. Then there are the post bots and the gawd damn contests that draw them like shit to flies.Comment

From what I've heard, Lensman kills most/all spiders that ever hit GFY, but then, I'm not a big money program owner.... so I'd have no idea if there's special provisions for them to do those things.
But yes, those contests / post bots do take their toll. But not that much. There are much worse on bigger boards and those boards don't suffer the same way.
From what I understand, GFY's issues are 100% hardware related.
