I want a good system also. I want to wire up the house. the driveway / the pool / playground and then the playroom and main living room/ dinning room / Kitchen area. this way i can see the kids outside and in the house when I'm upstairs

Everything I've tried that is wireless fucks up my laptop wireless. I guess its the frequency. I may have to go wired

we need one for the warehouse , with night vision so my bros can see outside and such so no one is waitng to jack em when they leavbe late at night

We put in some of the Axis270W's at $292.00 ea. in a lowlight manufacturing enviroment.
So far the two we are testing have worked well.
We went with Camera Station Software @$620 for a 4 cam license.
We did that because it is scalable up to 25 cams.

X10 are inexpensive and work very well .. you can have several cameras, that come with a switcher (swich from one camera to the next) iether pre programed or with a remote control .. you can stream it .. so that you can view the cameras from home too .. in a 4 way split screen, kind of

I bought one about a year ago then realized it had to be connected to an electricity source outside - which I don't have. It's still sealed in the box. I probably need to Ebay it.

Get a cheap marine battery and an inverter.

it brings the cost up but much more convenient

It's really funny because MAYBE 10 cars a year come down here that I'm not expecting. But the only way to see them is if I stand on the bathtub and look out a small window. One of these days I'm going to bust my ass and have to explain to the ER how I hurt myself in the tub completely clothed
