The traffic system owner is a given. But their neglect doesn't excuse Playboy's neglect for not having this board moderated properly to stop the further exploitation of people.

From how I understand it, cliff notes go like this:

Spreadsheet with a bunch of peeps real full name, username, password, email addie, phone #, ICQ #, IP #, Country of origin and "Balance:" for something or the other was posted on a domain at some point in the past.... industry peeps.... some people we all know from this board.

Smart, but altruistic, guy #1 discovers it, and posts a list of the real names, says, 'hey, if you're name's on this list, hit me up, you need to know something'

Smart Guy #2 says 'any moron can just take two of the names you just listed, stick them in google, and view the cached page'

Smart Guy #3 starts a thread 'think your shit's safe? Guess again!' and lists what seemed to be the entire text of the spreadsheet.

Smart Guy #4 writes a blog entry which contains a direct link to said cached page, and posts a link to that blog entry on GFY.

GFY starts hating on the aforementioned smart guys.
