Muslims are mainly less educated, less informed and easily led. With a few exceptions. So if a Mullah, War Lord, Tribal Elder can stand up and say "The US backs our enemy of 3,000 years and is the devil and Allah wants us to kill them." They will grab a gun. something they have never had a great reluctance to do. Even killing other Muslims who worship Allah a different way is pretty easy for some.
Then there's the Crusades and even Alexander the Great is regarded as symbol of hate by some Muslims.
Think back to Europe when religious armies were killing each other.
Continued support for Israel against Muslims will continue the trend of 3,000 years.
You don't ever really win a war without winning the peace.
