I posted a link to plenty of proof, and I HAVE BEEN on deployments and to military balls and I know damn well what goes on, what commanders often overlook regardless of regulations, and I have enough experience to be able to tell what is probably an exercise in bad judgement.Comment

You are incorrect. You posted no proof. You don't make the rules. You don't enforce the rules. The Sergeants Major, Captains, Majors, and Colonels who were present at the homecoming had no issue with a marine hugging his partner at homecoming.
You clearly have issues to say that hugging at homecoming "is probably an exercise in bad judgement" If you want to admit that you have an issue with it because it's two men then great, but the USMC brass at the homecoming has no issue with it, so you are incorrect.

What do you know about Military Bearing, other than reading about it on Google? Anyone back from long deployment, ESPECIALLY from a combat zone reacts the same exact way. Was this over the top, yes.
