I normally stick with Linux Mint Debian - I mean, what's not to love about the Mint menu running on top of the best linux distro ever made? - but I'm going to give this a try for a while.
I paid the 10 euro for the ultimate version, and need to make a bunch of system tweaks before I can give a solid opinion on performance; but so far it's pretty nice.
Probably something I'd definitely recommend to novice users...
And I like the fact that it still maintains the freedom of linux - free as in beer - yes, they have 'premium' versions but they're so low cost it doesn't matter... and from the looks of it, those versions are no different than the 'free' version aside from the additional software that comes pre-installed.
