Stabbings happen. In my country, in your country. Impossible to prevent. Knives are needed in every day life. We can not ban knives.
Guns however are not needed in daily life. (cept for police etc). Adding guns in the mix will only result in people using guns to kill even more (and more easy).
It really is that simple.
