    Non-Porn Business Concept Question

A friend of mine is currently renting a 600 sq ft location within an industrial complex.

He was using the space for storage, but no longer needs to store anything there.

It is a multi-use location with high ceilings, in a very populated area.

He asked if I had any ideas of what to do with it, and I threw out at least a dozen.

I have no idea if any of them would really work, but I suggested a small cafe, maybe an hourly or daily rental space, an artist gallery, etc.

If this were YOUR space what would YOU do with such a location?

What interesting business ideas do YOU have?

Assuming you could get the license to do such a thing (you don't say where this is) he should open a tattoo removal parlor. Just need a chair and a laser.

That's a unique idea - thanks for contributing - I'll pass it along.

      Anyone else?

How about just talking to the landlord and paying a penalty to end the commercial lease early instead of trying to shoehorn some business in there that he knows nothing about that he will probably lose even more money on?

Yeah, that was the first thing I suggested too, but I guess the rent is so cheap that he wants to try something just for the hell of it. He's a landscaper, and he used to store his shit there, but no longer requires the space.
