I think it was your sheer devotion to ifriends when anyone with a clue knows they are fucking over their content suppliers.

its the popular part that makes it so hard. incredibly hard. you could have the most kick ass VB features, sexy mods posting naked pics, paying people to post there but if it isn't popular then you might have better luck trying to build a rocket and flying to the moon. But if you can make it popular, your cost and overhead are next to nothing.

i dont own the program, i dont make their policies. they have been good to me and i am l am loyal to them. I was content there for a while and also managed my own models who worked there for a couple years. Since then i haven't been up to date with the chat host side of things, so i really dont know what is going on.

The only thing i know about the ifriends side is that when the chathost wants you to stop using her pics you better comply.

No site is perfect, they all have their flaws to some degree. I wouldn't want you to dislike me over it. I am sorry if you had bad experiences with them in the past.

Actually you have eased off of it quite a bit. For awhile if anyone said anything bad about ifriends/clickcash you swooped in and almost acted like you had an inside track on things and would eiter help or dismiss anyones issues.

In reality I suppose their site is indeed perfect as a web 2.0 model. Quick break down along with the time line so to speak.

Ifriends starts and loves the talent, everyone makes tons of money they eat all charge backs. You can charge almost as little as you desire.
They insist on a 1.99 minimum rate.
Without telling many they sell gold accounts which gives members a 50% off discount for life at the low cost of 99.00
They forget to tell you that billing stops at 3 hours and if you do not stop and restart your show you do not get the extra time.
Automatic archive photos begin, as with all new items it is set to on by default. Site takes your picture every few minutes and publishes them.
They forgo buying every chathosts domain name before host can and now offer web hosting and billing.
Assorted peeping sites pop up that the hosts are unaware of. Tiny streaming thumbnail shown to anyone without age verification.
Chathosts now eat all chargebacks and shows that go uncollected.
Site pretty much offers little to no support to hosts and will ban anyone that rocks the boat in their forums.
Stores are also set up, no one warns anyone of the legalities just a trust us mentality.
Insane rules set in for the non nude areas. I.E. Just sit there and do not move.
Viewers may now take photos during your show, they get published.
Viewers may now take videos during your show they get published.
They offer fanclubs which are mini paysites inside the site itself. Allows hosts to offer free shows to members or discounts. Discounts may apply to your friends shows (whoops).
You now have them viewing you full time in guest chat and a very see through overlay with privates.

Hosts were competing with each other for marketing and offering up more and more free material in archives and in fanclubs.
Ifriends was getting insane amounts of content that they own forever uploaded and updated every second.
Ifriends no longer cared about the video time or hosts getting paid, they were making their money with monthly memberships that provided tons of perks and also included some free video time.

Ok yes he was a genius and prolly is in some locked room spreading peanut butter over his body and only eating key limes and beer. Yet I still find it really fucking fucked up how they went about it all.

That is without going into the clickcash side of things or the way they accidently fucked people out of chathost refferals.

I got banned from their chathost board more than a few times ;)

To be honest with you the fact that a member gets access to tons of pictures and videos from the different chathost is a huge selling feature and something that I have used to get new people to sign up. Although I am pretty sure way back you didn't have to publish pictures to your archives and more recently you could only make your content viewable to your fan club members which the chat host does make money from those membership fees.

I was unware of the 3+ hour time limit I never had a problem with that or noticed that.

I i rocked the boat a little. It know it was super hard to get an account signed up and it would get kicked back easily. I left my cam one one night while i sleeping, made like $20 bucks, i even said " he come watch me sleep naked" thought it was the greatest way to make money... they didn't like that too much ;)

Really what it comes down to for me is that most people are aware of the pros and cons of each site before they start there or shortly after, people just choose the one that works the best for them. Way back they were the only ones. Then there was cam g irls if i remember right only paid 40% and i think most girls had "managers" who took a big cut. Way too long ago for me to remember and some things i would probably not want to remember lol.

Inregards to the clickcash stuff, there was a LOT of shit that was posted here by people that was totally bullshit, which is why i would go off on them. The person posting was either a fack nick or knew he was posting bullshit, i knew it was bullshit, and since clickcash doesn't post here someone needed to set the record straight.

Yeah I know but it sort of associated you with clickcash in my head and them my gut desire to want to destroy them for fucking up a perfectly good income stream due to no fault of my own and no TOS violations until they changed their TOS. Which as you know by cashing the check you agree to their TOS each week.

I lost all my chathost refferals because I was not an active chathot. Never was a chathost though. When I reffered those hosts and a shit load of them. They supposidly where yours for a lifetime and then you got a cut from each they reffered. I had a pretty good downline. Then they made that tos change and demanded I go through their age verification cam crap and be an active host to retain my refferals.
