How long does it take before REV beats PPS

There are so many variables in this equation that an answer isn't even possible. Although, I know there will be some retards that will come into the thread claiming to have an educated answer.

The odd thing with me (and a few others I know) and cams is, many times when you use PPS you get shit. Switch over to REV and sales roll in. Talk to a rep about it why this happens, PPS sales instantly come in. Then they die as fast as they came. Over to REV, sales.

Doesn't make any sense unless they are straight up shaving their PPS sales, which of course they are.

true, ok let's also say you have the same type of traffic... everything steady... there must be a break even point for every program... And despite nobody can answer this 100% correctly... I'd still like to hear some experiences... maybe some of you have tested it before?

Maybe program owners can share some wisdom... after all they set the PPS amounts so they know a lot more than affiliates...

I probably wouldn't assume the program owners know more than the affiliates. The 5 years I have been absent from this business, I see quite a few programs gone like WegCash, Python..etc...

I used to like to keep a blend of PPS and REV. Typically 60% REV and 40% PPS. I'm reacclimating myself to the industry since plenty has changed over the 5 years so I'm not sure if that ratio will still be the same.

I will say at $75 PPS, me personally would stick with the PPS rather than the REV. I would actually contact the program and run a 4 month test with PPS and REV. Like Harmon suggested, there are plenty of variables and the results for one affiliate may not be the same for another.
