How long does it take for a blog to get SE traffic?

How long does it take for a new blog to get some SE traffic, not 10-20 per day but at least 500 per day?

I know some people got a lot of blogs and would be glad to know how quickly can experienced webmasters get new blogs to some decent amount of SE traffic.

That is dependent on what domain you use, age of It, if It has prior in-links etc but if you buy a new domain and you start blogging and do the usual stuff like link-trade, submit to some directories etc It will depend on what keywords you are targeting and how good your seo is. Also how often you update etcetc So It's many factors that will chime in(way more than I just posted).

        5 months then you'll receive 10,000/day.

I think one of the bigger factors that determines the answer to this question, is the competition on the keyword(s) in question.

If there is little-to-no competition, a new blog can get to the first page very quickly, and even stay there until competition arises or new changes to the SE occur.

Most of the blogs that I have made, rose to top spots for their kws within a week; If there was no competition.

I usually only targeted kws that received 100-200 uniques daily but I did have a few that were getting 500-1K.

Of course, what Nicky said is probably the biggest factor in taking advantage of keywords that have not been targeted.

I have some that will start getting 75-100 SE visitors a day within the first week and some that don't start getting a lot of SE traffic until 4-5 months later...just depends. For me it seems whenever the Panda updates happen is when I start seeing a significant traffic increase.

It depends on too many factors.
Number and frequency of posts, quality of content, niche-competition in this niche etc...

I once heard a story of a guy who created a blog the day "Danger's" nude pics came out from "Love of Ray J". I heard the guy posted the pics and linked to the new site from an established site and got a serious amount of google images traffic almost instantaneously. Just some shit I heard though.
