Most likely because there's nothing of substance for 'them' personally anymore - any serious question that would help a program understand an affiliate more, gets buried in 200 threads of 'hot pics' & 'crap' served in a multitude of forms heheh. Anyone they need to contact they either have direct details on their cell phone or one of their employees knows how to get in touch with them.
Basically - the quality level bar of this place has been brought down in order to increase the quantity/volume. It's a business - and has to remain profitable (although I don't think they were ever suffering financially).
As the 'primary' forum for this industry that has a broad audience in terms of how they promote (lets face it, any hour of any day, there's ALWAYS someone online) - I think they should INCREASE the quality by limiting who signs up & clean up the garbage that has infected the place.
The fact that anyone and everyone can come here and open an account - hide who they are all they long by signing up for new nicks means that you don't know who/what you're dealing with & unfortunately because of this, it limits the quality of the discussions on here.
I'm sure, as a program owner, if you knew that the target market on this forum would be serious programs & webmasters (doesn't matter the AMOUNT of sales they could bring but their business acumen) then you wouldn't mind spending a touch more for your ad space. Your program can help the serious up-and-coming programs & affiliate grow - and the serious up-and-coming programs & affiliates can help your program grow.
I'd much rather help someone one on one - even if it doesn't = to money - than shoot from the hip here and someone question my motives or try to bash me because I disagreed with them in some other thread.

As someone who has a college degree (not in Business), I can tell you that it is one of the worst degrees you can get. Most guys coming out of school with one just end up doing telemarketing. Look at your list of most succesful businessmen in the world. Half didn't even go to college, a bunch more didn't major in business. Business classes teach you how to work for someone else.Comment

And any NON ECONOMIC education is what can help you in business way more than any BA in business administration, to be BA in business administration is the qualification for companies that need creativeless white collars to fill the administrative posts that noone with balls would ever want to work at.
I personally am educated in cybernetics and biomedical engeneering plus I spent some time also on International Trade university, I can't really code anymore but when some geek is trying to pull a high on me? it surely helps million times more then if I have a BA in business administration and need to tell someone to do something..
