In short, it is my RIGHT to travel as I see fit. The fact that the government may choose to revoke that right is just further proof of how far we have strayed from being a truly free country.Comment

Driving is a right. It became a right when they started taxing it. Colonel_Angus is right, its not the government's right or duty to hand out rights to those it feels can handle it. And all traffic laws are violations of your rights. The government has no right to tell me that I cant drive 100 MPH down the interstate when same can be (and in my car, regularly is) accomplished safely. It is, however, the right of others to sue me in court when my exercise of my rights (driving 100 MPH down the interstate) infringes on other people's ability to enjoy their rights (someone gets dead in a wreck).Comment
