    Who sent me this check?

    Customer service department - FODA
    PO Box 48750- 595 burrard street - Vancouver ca

    I checked whopaidme.com and google... can't figure it out...

      Check

      Get checks all the time from crooks

      Deposit the the check. After 30 or 60 days, checks doesn't bounce, then use the money.

      99.999% of the time it's the bad check scam. They'll ask you for most of the money back. You pay, then find out their check is worthless.

      They do this with rental deposits. And so many other scams.

      They do it on any CraigsList posting.

      I had some car dealer in "Canada" send me a check. Did a Google Maps search. The address was some farm field.

                  Whenever I've received cheques from affiliate companies, we have the cheque attached to the statement which has the name of the company on. Do not all companies do this?

                      Nope - in fact before the tubes and stuff it used to be a problem for webmasters trying to identify where their checks came from - hence pages like this - http://www.businessvoyeur.com/sponsor-check-names

                      nowdays its more about trying to find the sponsors that will pay!
