Its in EVERYTHING, well most everything that is processed and sweet in any way. It was born as a very cheaply produced sweetener. All the processed food manufacturers fell in love and adopted it.
If you must have sugar, you should go evaporated cane sugar. If you must.
Beer is pretty bad too. Very fattening. Hence the phrase "beer belly", that's exactly where it goes. lol.
I have the luxury of having a dietician for a trainer, so I get facts, no GFY guesses.
The thing that dazzles me the most is how most of us are never really taught how to eat. Society as a whole gets its "health" information largely from television and word of mouth, which is a lot of regurgitated television marketing advice.
We were fed garbage as kids growing up. Lots of East Coast comfort foods that were cheap and easy to prepare for a family of 6. I had to teach myself how to eat all over in the last few years. Most of what you think is good for you is actually terrible for you. Milk being one.
I'm not the guy to try to convince or convert people anymore, but I do encourage people to get their own information from sources that they feel credible and decide on their own. I can only account for how I feel.

Good stuff
Milk you mention. I admit I am a heavy cheese eater. lol Prob about 1 and 1/2 LBs week (24oz) No milk. Or cream. Only cheese. Somehow thinking cheese is better than cream but chease is thicker than cream.
It is a good thing I mostly cook my own meals 100%. Pretty healthy. Except a tad of sugar/ corn syrup. (if I have it I WILL binge on it as I said tho) I DO avoid the HFCS tho for sure, was aware of that. That stuff nausiates me. Beer ("liquid bread" is the perfect definition) 1-2 /day. That aint too bad tho.
Pasta ocassionally but it is so fattening. I have been starving myself last couple days and got my weight back (went shopping yesterday too - good walk) Lost 3Lbs in one day. All pasta weight. Had about 4 oz (dry weight) over 4 days is all. But that is enough
Plus it clogs you up. Of course it is really only white bread which is one of the crap foods.
Ya know the sugar is 100% psych. I have gone without if for about a week 100% and I noticed the belt got a loop tighter in only one week. I was also eating Splenda tho (as a crutch, thinking it was ok) like in sugar free Wurthers. That sugar-free stuff now days is bad for ya tho too. If ya eat too many.. big trouble
I makes ya toot lol like nuts. I gave my friend and his wife one piece each and it affected them LOL
Dates are good sweet substitute with maybe some coconut that isnt full of sugar.
Cali has good jumbo dates that I see here at Xmas.
