I suggest you change your DNS servers to point to OpenDNS. (
www.opendns.org)... then register your IP with them and under "blocked categories" click ads and malware if they have it. The absolute best thing I've found for Anti-malware is: Kaspersky
If you're still using internet explorer, switch to Google Chrome.
I also have a PFsense router with SNORT IDS and it's also configured to pull IP address black lists every few hours and block those as well. I block all Russian Business Network IP's.
With that being said, I don't ever have any malware issues and don't even run antivirus on a routine basis. I scan once in awhile but it never finds anything.
