It can be suspicious for young site. They are more likely to react on many new incoming links.

Personally I do 1000 links a day to new sites and never have an issue. It is all about how you do it. You can place links directly to your site, try to get the more quality ones (PR 6+ domains are best but PR 4+ is ok too). Then you can shoot the lower quality ones to your backlinks themselves.

If you get them on PR 1 and 0 sites dont bother...

If its pr 4-6+ then you should be fine...

Might want to spread them out though... do like 200 a day for awhile then after a few weeks do 600 then 1000 a day...

Or if you are only buying a thousand, have them spread out over 2 weeks or something.

Make it look natural: get links regardless of the PR of the linking page, get both follow AND nofollow links, mix up the anchor text, get social media links, get links to internal pages, avoid getting too many links (if your competitors in a certain micro niche have +- 500 links and your new site ends up getting 50000 links in a short period of time, that gonna look suspicious),....

definitely spread it out the backlinks. 1000 blasts could be pretty sketchy

for new site i do firstly I wait 2 - 4 weeks, then each week i add 20 around links. it works for me.

Why do you want 1000 back links?

1 relevant high PR would hold more value. Your wasting your time and money with link dumps, social bookmarks, forum/blog posts/spam, link farms and link wheels, etc,etc

I would not do that for anything on the planet.

Great way to get black listed and a waste of money.

I have sites ranking in the top 10 for very competitive words and phrases and dont have anywhere near that number of links.
