how do i convert WMV trailer to flash?

I use a PC so I can't really reply in regards to any Mac Apps, but I have used this web based tool and it works well

convert2flv.com

It puts out a file you can use to embed the video with the flash player.

I use Flix Standard for all flash applications. Great for SWF and FLV plus gives you diffferent quality options. Now this is for a PC but check and see if you can get it for a mac.

try sorenson squeeze or flash 8 can convert wmv to flv.

Not sure why you'd want to do this, WMV is already the the excrement of formats. Converting it into flash is not going to make quality better or save bandwith, if you add controls the files are actually going to be bigger.

Macromedia Flash MX > File > Import > Export Movie (Format: Flash Movie) = .swf

You can download Flash 8 from Adobe as a 30 day trail. It comes with a good flash video converter. If you're just doing a small one time prject, that should do the trick for ya.

It also lets you do all of the videos at once.

The flash encoder is a separate application from Flash 8. Look in your applications folder under Adobe/Flash, and you should see it. I'm not sure if the encoder app comes with Flash MX or not.
