Anyone check out "LUCK" on HBO ?
Saw it last night, I think it was just OK, hope it improves, give it a couple of more episodes to see what happens. Dont think it's up to par, with Sopranos, Deadwood , or Boardwalk

Most of the HBO shows are "slow burn". I'd give it a at least half a season, because they're not going to shove anything earth shattering down your throat to hook you. You just have to have faith that HBO usually delivers.
I had no idea what the fuck anyone was talking about, but I still liked it. I felt like i was getting to see a world I know nothing about.

Tried watching it but I know fuckall about horse betting so didn't make much sense, dialogue was hard to understand too. Without the a-list actors I doubt I'd have kept watching and it was hard to care. Might give it one more episode but being confused and bored aren't good for audience membersComment

Honestly I have to watch each episode twice to make sure I understand. So far I like it.
