    my site hacked

    So what if you visit your own site and get redirected to another unknown domain. The domain is a porn site with lots of affiliate links on it.
    After quick investigation, it appears my htaccess files was modified to redirect all traffic to the new domain.

    After having my host made some security changes and script updates, I still have this one question.
    Is the guy who owns the site framed by a third person, doesn' t he care about me finding his identity by investigating all his aff links or is he just stupid ?

      most likely not framed but that reason of doubt will probably keep his affiliate account from being suspended... so no, he doesn't care.

                  the domain that was hacked was using PivotX, a blog cms. There are some WP installs on that server, but not on the domain hacked.
