Offshore servers

Is there any particular benefit to hosting an adult site on an offshore server? I am working with a company that does not usually deal with adult and they were contemplating getting an offshore server to host the site we are developing.

theres no reason to do that. adult is adult and is perfectly fine in the usa, including having adult and mainstream on the same server, it makes 00000000000 difference.

however, getting a new server with QuadraNet (us) is always a good thing and we can get you setup in any of our 3 datacenters across the USA (Los Angeles, Dallas, Miami)

Even if you ARE don't something illegal in the US, if YOU are in the US the server location doesn't matter much. Servers don't get arrested, people do.

As the megaupload people found out, if you're selling something to customers in the US or providing services to them, or screwing over US citizens, even if you're not in the US they can arrest you.

I host my sites in the US and put my content on servers overseas because it's cheaper bandwidth.
